Whether you like it or not, your engine is bound to wear down over the course of its lifetime. While you can’t keep your engine running forever, our maintenance experts at our Chrysler, Dodge, RAM, and Jeep® service center can help you extend your engine’s lifespan dramatically. Sansone Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM is more than just a dealership, we’re your central source for satisfying all of your automotive needs.

There is a multitude of ways to extend the life of your engine. While being easy on the accelerator and paying attention to the state of your vehicle can both play a role, regular maintenance is what can really make or break your engine.

At the top of maintenance list is getting an oil change. Motor oil lubricates the insides of your engine and mitigates the amount of friction that all of your engine’s parts put on each other. As a result, you can dramatically reduce wear and tear and potentially avoid having to pay for expensive repairs.

Not too far behind motor oil is your transmission. While your transmission is likely the most important component of your engine, it requires far less maintenance than your motor oil. How often you service your transmission can depend on the type of the transmission itself. We suggest that you have it inspected every 30,000 miles or so.

So head over to  Sansone Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM and have our skilled service team take a look at your vehicle. Whether you’re hoping to prolong the life of a RAM truck or trying to get behind the wheel of your dream car, our RAM dealership in Avenel ought to be your number one auto provider.

When it comes to utility, nothing compares to a pickup truck. At Sansone Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM we offer a diverse assortment of RAM model pickup trucks, including the impressive 2020 RAM 1500. However, we’re all about competition here and are curious how the latest Toyota Tundra compares to this RAM flagship.

Starting with the 2020 RAM 1500, here is a pickup truck that starts out of the gate with impressive power. The base model gets a 3.6-liter V6 eTorque engine, that utilizes mild hybrid technology to support low-speed acceleration and reduce overall engine load. Combined with a 48-volt electric motor, this base model engine build gets an impressive 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft worth of torque. The accompanying 8-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive are a great fit on the base model Ram 1500, and with a max towing capacity of 12,570, this is a pickup truck that won’t let you down when some serious heavy lifting is required.

The Toyota Tundra, on the other hand, may seem more robust at first glance. The base model 5.7-liter V-8 is much larger than what’s offered on the RAM 1500, offering 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft worth of torque. However, the lack of configuration options is a huge miss for this Toyota pickup. The RAM 1500, offers its standard engine, as well as a turbodiesel and a roaring V8. Toyota on the other hand only offers this simple V-8 engine build. And with a top towing capacity of 10,200 pounds, it’s a shame that this horsepower and torque is being limited by lower-quality engineering.

When it comes to power and utility, the Toyota Tundra may look decent on paper, but it falls on its face when it comes to application. Meanwhile, the 2020 Ram 1500 delivers on its promises, providing the kind of workhorse experience drivers have come to expect. Our local RAM dealers of Avenel, NJ know everything there is to know about the 2020 RAM 1500. When you visit our dealership at Sansone Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM, we’ll give you the full rundown of what this RAM pickup brings to the table.

The 2019 Jeep Renegade has been redesigned for a more bold, sporty, and fun appearance. It comes available in seven trims – Upland, Sport, Latitude, Altitude, Limited, Trailhawk®, and High Altitude – and two engines. The standard is a 2.4-liter I4 engine featuring MultiAir® technology that generates 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. A 1.3-liter direct-injection turbo engine is also available and puts out 177 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque. When you decide to head off the beaten path, rely on helpful safety features such as electronic roll mitigation, electronic stability control, the Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System, and multiple driving settings. A Uconnect® 3 five-inch touchscreen display and Integrated Voice Command with Bluetooth® make your ride even better.

The 2019 Chevy Trax is another peppy compact SUV with a similar lust for adventure. It is available in three models – LS, LT, and Premier. Each model comes with a  1.4-liter Turbo ECOTEC® 4-cylinder engine that produces 138 horsepower and 148 lb-ft of torque. The safety features on this model include a rear vision camera, an electronic stability control system with traction control and other available options. The Chevrolet Infotainment 3 System is standard.

Clearly, the 2019 Jeep Renegade should be the choice for anyone looking for an off-road capable compact SUV. Q: What is the difference between used and certified pre-owned?

A: The used vehicles that we at our dealership are in great shape and should provide you with years of quality performance. However, if you’re seeking extra peace of mind, we recommend browsing our certified pre-owned models. These vehicles undergo a thorough inspection, have low mileage, are relatively new, and come with additional warranties.

Q: Why is test driving a car important?

A: There is no way to truly know how a car or new Jeep truck feels on the road or how features work from a glance or online description. When you test drive a car, you are able to feel the acceleration, test the brakes, play with all of the features, evaluate the comfort, and more. We do not recommend purchasing a car without experiencing it in person beforehand.

Q: What types of services do you offer in your service department?

A: From routine maintenance to serious repairs, our certified technicians can take on any challenge you send their way. We have a state-of-the-art facility, high-tech equipment, and use exclusively MOPAR® parts. Be sure to check out our Dodge service and parts specials before your visit. You may call or schedule your appointment online.

There are many parts that your car requires to be in top shape in order to run smoothly and safely. One of the key components is your battery. At Sansone Chrysler Jeep® Dodge RAM, our certified professionals in the service department are prepared to repair or replace your components and get you back on the road as soon as possible. Visit today to get your RAM pickup running like new.

Your battery is what supplies the electrical current that enables your vehicle to start and provides power to all your interior systems. Signs of a failing battery include an activated check engine light, slow crank to start the engine, low battery fluid, rank odor, or visible spell beneath the hood. If you haven’t had a new battery in three or more years, this could mean it’s time for a replacement. Without a healthy battery, you could encounter a decline in performance or no power at all. Furthermore, healthy parts will experience more stress when running on a weak battery. This could cause damage to your starter or charging system and cost you even more money.

At your nearest Dodge dealership, our technicians will examine your battery to ensure it has an adequate charge and all cables are secure. If problems persist, your starter may be the issue. Whether you need a new battery or attention to the starter, we will get you taken care of. We only use MOPAR® parts, made specifically for your make and model. For example, we will not put a part made for a Toyota Corolla or an aftermarket product in your RAM truck. Before you visit our location, check out the parts and service specials on our website!

We are looking forward to working on your car, SUV, Chrysler van, or truck. Schedule an appointment online or visit us today at 90-100 Route 1 in Avenel, NJ.
