A No Compromise SUV: The 2019 Dodge Durango
When it comes to purchasing a new SUV, you shouldn’t have to compromise on the features you find important. With the new 2019 Dodge Durango, which FCA US LLC released on Thursday, you don’t have to. If you’re looking for new cars near Edison, NJ, this is one you’ll want to keep your eye on.
One thing the 2019 Dodge Durango definitely doesn’t compromise on is power. It isn’t called the “three-row version of the Dodge Charger” for nothing. The SXT, GT, and Citadel trims come with a 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 engine that produces 295 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. But if you want to really turn it up to 11, upgrade to the R/T or SRT trims, which include a 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 that cranks out 475 horsepower. All models equip an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The most notable changes to the Dodge Durango come to the mid-level GT, which now includes the performance front fascia and LED fog lights normally only seen on the higher trims.
