Sansone Ram – 2025 Ram 1500 Review near Staten Island NY

If you love pickups and Ram trucks in particular, then you’re likely eagerly anticipating the 2025 Ram 1500 that will bring with it a substantial mid-cycle refresh. Sansone Ram is the local Ram dealership, and our customers are excited and have been asking us many questions. This early 2025 Ram 1500 review is an opportunity to answer them based on what currently know, but please be mindful that is a preproduction vehicle and that details are subject to change.

Interior

The cab options for the 2025 Ram 1500 will remain the same as the previous models this gen. That means that you can expect three-, five- and six-passenger seating and the same legroom and headroom. The model is getting a redesigned cabin, however, and even the base Tradesman is going to look sharper and more modern. Cabin features are being expanded as well. Uconnect 5 with a 12-inch touch screen is now standard equipment. An even bigger touch screen will be optional and included with the new Tungsten. That trim level is going to dial up the luxury Ram is known for even further with premium quilted leather seating, massaging front seats, and a premium 23-speaker audio system.

Exterior

The cab and bad options available through Sansone Ram will be the same as well. The larger cab is a crew cab with four full-size doors. It gives you the choice of a 6-foot-4-inch or 5-foot-7-inch bed. The smaller cab is a double cab. It has four doors but smaller rear doors and is available exclusively with the longer bed. The Ram 1500 is getting an exterior makeover with a new grille and redesigned lighting elements. Ram is also introducing a new color palette, wheel designs, appearance packages, bed steps, side steps, splash guards, bed upgrades, and much more.

Mechanical

Hands-free keyless open, keyless ignition and remote ignition will all be available for the new Ram 1500 through our dealership, and while this has not been confirmed, we wouldn’t be surprised to see them as standard equipment. Class IV trailering equipment will be optional with the base trim and standard beyond, and while Ram has not confirmed the towing and payload capacities yet, it has confirmed that they will increase over the previous model.

Powertrain

We know that this is the most intriguing aspect of our 2025 Ram 1500 review. After all, the HEMI V8 engine is being retired. The good news is that it is being replaced with a twin-turbo inline six-cylinder engine, and it will be available in two configurations: 420 and 540 horsepower.

Safety

The standard and optional touch screens are bigger and more feature-rich. More standard and optional advanced driver-assistance technologies have been confirmed but not specifically. We also expect that Ram will introduce its suite of advanced trailering technologies along with integration for adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and so forth.
